TESS, the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, is a NASA space telescope designed to search for exoplanets using the transit method around the closest stars.
PLATO, PLAnetary Transits and Oscillations of stars (PLATO) is a space telescope under development by the European Space Agency for launch in 2026. It will search and study Earth-like exoplanets around Sun-like stars.
