visit to Gran Sasso laboratories
- We arrived at about 11.00 a.m.
- INFN Researchers had a presentation of Gran Sasso’s laboratories
- they explained us the experiments they’re working on (OPERA, ICARUS, LUNA, WARP)
- we had lunch (a really good one!)
- we visited the laboratories
- we saw in details experiments about neutrino and dark matter (LUNA, OPERA, ICARUS, WARP)
- and they gave us some descriptions of DAMA, CRESST, LVD, CUORE, GEDRA
- then we finally retuned home!

New Members!
It is with a big pleasure that we annunce two new members! Martina De Laurentis and Lucio Rossi, from the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, joined our group.
It a big chance for our OSA Chapter to widen our local network. At the present, thanks to our members, we link three of the most important neapolitan communities working in the filed of Optics: the Physical Sciences Department, the ENEA Portici Research Centre and the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

1st Seminars On Optics (SOO) Meeting
On the 16 of April, Dr. Alexandr Jonas will give a lecture over "Advanced techniques of optical micro-manipulations" at the Physical Sciences Departmen. This seminar is the first of the "Seminars On Optics" project.
