Studentships/Vacancies
A number of under/graduate, PhD students and Postdocs have been working in our group, many of them having today high profile jobs in science and business. Our main current research projects concern the application of statistical mechanics methods to complex systems in physics and biology. A background in theoretical and computational physics, or in applied mathematics and bioinformatics is desirable. Experience with statistical mechanics, stochastic or non-linear processes, Monte Carlo or Molecular Dynamics would be an advantage.
The prospective candidate should be highly motivated to work at the current international science frontier, in interdisciplinary collaborations with our partner groups around EU, UK and USA.
In our group s/he will find very friendly and open working conditions, dedicated supervision and many learning and interaction opportunities. Living in Napoli can be fashinating and surprising. Our student office will provide all practical support.
