My name is Ebrahim Karimi, I was born on May 24, 1978 at Saghez (Saqqez) a nice and cold city beside of Chelcheshme mountains (KURDISTAN-IRAN). First, I began my primary school in VAHDAT school. Then, I went to TARBIAT school, and I finish my high school at EGHBAL LAHORI. I have obtaind my diploma in Mathematics and Physics, after that I was interested in electronic and I have obtained the electronic diploma too. I participated in several conferences of physics, and I went to the second stage of national Mathematics Olympiad.

I went to KERMAN university in 1997, and I have obtained my BSc at kerman university on 2001, but during that time I participated in many mathematics courses and I passed many courses in mathematics, like Linear Algebra, Complex Analysis, Analysis I, II, III, ... .

I began my post-graduate study at IASBS institute as a best 18th iranian students. I started my thesis in IASBS first as a Mathematical Physics student, but I changed my subject and I finished my thesis under supervising Prof. Arashmid NAHAL and under advising Prof. Yousuf SOBOUTI on “Laser Cooling”. Also, I worked on Singular optics with Prof. Tavassoli and Dr. Khalesifard.

After MSc, I found several positions on some foreign countries, but I had to pass my military service spam before. So, I went to KURDISTAN university as a researcher and I have found a many good friends there like Dr. Karami, Prof. Setare, Dr. Saaidi and Dr. Soltanian.

Now, I’m a PhD student at “Federico II”, university of Naples, in ITALY. My supervisor is Prof. Lorenzo marrucci, and my advisor is Prof. Enrico Santamato. I work on orbital angular momentum of light.

I’m a member of OSA (Optical Society of America) and CNR-INFM Coherentia.
