The workshop intends to discuss the state of the art of
the applications of geometry to modern physics. It will be the occasion
to celebrate the 65th birthday of Giuseppe Marmo whose contribution to
the development and dissemination of geometric methods concerns many
different areas of theoretical physics and has influenced many
researchers.

How to reach the hotel:
Information Quick info and tips: Napoli is connected to Ischia via traghetti (ferries, slightly cheaper but slower) or Aliscafi (faster hydrofoils). They leave from three sites: "molo Beverello" or "Mergellina" (hydrofoils) or "Porta di Massa" (ferries). Porta di Massa and Beverello are very close to each other, and they have more connections to Ischia. The last ferry is at 21:55 from
Porta di Massa. From Napoli
airport you may take the "Alibus", the bus goes to Piazza Municipio
near the "Molo Beverello" or "Porta di Massa" docking sites. From the
last stop just walk down towards the sea, and you will see the
hydrofoils and ferries. If you take a taxi from the airport ask for the
predetermined tariff: "tariffa predeterminata". It is 19 Euros for
``Molo Beverello'' or ``Porta di Massa'', 23 Euros for Mergellina. It
includes everything. In Ischia the closest harbour to the hotel is "Ischia Porto", the main port of the island. From the port the Hotel it is a short taxi ride, or take the public bus service Eav Bus, (main bus stop directly at the harbour). Upon demand the hotel organizes direct transfers from the Airport "Capodichino", the railway stations “Napoli Centrale”, “Napoli Mergellina”, and the harbour of Naples, to the hotel in Ischia and viceversa.
